The ID, Emails and school names of the users registering for event shall also be kept in a systematically encrypted database named ‘Kontigence Database’. The ID of a user containing information related to the institution (school, colleges and others) is a pre-requisite document in order to register for an event using this website. The said ID is only collected for the purpose of the safety and security of the event and the institution and shall only be used by the website to ensure the same. It is also made clear that the ID received and stored for the purpose of identification of the participants shall be deleted from the database after 24 hours of submission. In case a user is unable to provide IDs, user will be able to verify themselves using the official email address of the concerned institution. All other information stored in the Kontigence Database will be purged after the events which the participants opted for are over.

If any incident of academic dishonesty is found, the Kontigence team reserves the right to use the name of the participant, the name of the participant’s school and the participant’s email to write a letter documenting the incident to the participant’s institution.

The Intellectual property rights, if any, of the the participants/user shall always be protected and the work/idea/product of the participants/users shall never be used by the website anywhere without the the prior permission of the owner of the IP rights. In case website/organizers intends to use the work/idea/product of the participant/user enjoying IP right over said product/work/idea, the website shall obtain consent in writing (through Email or LOI) whenever the need arises. 

Third Party Privacy Policies

Kontigence’s Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.
